Last year at the Microsoft 365 Community Conference, we unveiled our new vision for the SharePoint user experience - including Copilot in SharePoint. This year, we are gearing up for an even bigger event – a huge opening keynote, more breakout sessions, deeper community engagement, and new forums to meet with product makers – to let them know what you like and areas we can improve. I’m currently deep in planning as the Co-Lead of the event’s Steering Committee and I’m super excited to make it the best conference for anyone who works with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Viva, Copilot and is interested in how AI is transforming the workplace.

Join me and my team and colleagues April 30th – May 2nd, 2024 at the Dolphin & Swan Hotel (inside Disneyworld) in Orlando, Florida.

If you need more reasons to be excited, here are my personal Top 10 reasons you should come:

  1. Futureproof your career and your organization for AI.   There’s a lot to learn about AI – both for your own skills and for your organization.  It’s rapidly changing, and this conference ensures you bring back the latest to your team.
  2. Skilling content about every nook and cranny of Microsoft 365.  There is more depth here – form product makers at Microsoft and the community – than anywhere else.
  3. You’ll hear best practices and examples from people you trust.  Nothing beats talking to someone with the same job as you and hearing about their successes and lessons. And numerous Microsoft MVPs will be on hand – people tried and tested in smart technical implementation and successful business outcomes.
  4. Bring your corporate communication and HR friends. The conference will be a great place to bring your business partners who team up with you to implement your employee experience vision. Consider using it to build cross-organizational bonds to help with your next big deployment.
  5. Grow your network. Plenty of time to hang out and build connections in the industry. Sharing is caring.
  6. Meet the people making the product. Dozens and dozens of Microsoft employees will be on site to answer your questions and share our best practices and listen.
  7. Learn how Microsoft employees approach AI product making. I know I already mentioned AI as well as lots of product makers on site.   But at this conference and this year, you’ll get to meet people using AI to build the future, pick their brains, and ask your questions.
  8. Orlando is fun. Onsite at a Disney property! In the same city as Universal Studios!  Bring your family and stay a couple of extra days!
  9. Be a hero - Bring swag back to your team. Laptop stickers for the win!
  10. Be part of the best community in tech. It’s hard to describe that perfect magic that is the Microsoft 365 people.  Open & inclusive, smart & dedicated, and willing to help each other – you’ll make some lifelong friendships.

What are you waiting for ? Register today or send this post to your boss to help them realize the value of your team attending! My team and I are fired up to deliver on all the above 10 value reasons, alongside numerous MVPs, and a wonderful event team.

We’re deep into planning now. I can tease out the following from a content perspective: We’ll have a news and demo-packed opening keynote with @Jeff Teper, loads of product leaders onsite – Sumi Singh, Manik Gupta, and Derek Snyder from the Teams team, @Karuana Gatimu on adoption, @Naomi Moneypenny to highlight Viva Amplify, @Vesa Juvonen for yo devs, Henry Jammes for Copilot Studio updates, @Sesha Mani diving into security and compliance, @Dan Holme sharing all things Viva Engage, and many more – to share updates and depth sessions on Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, Viva, OneDrive, Power Platform, Planner, Stream, Lists, and more.

Take a moment and listen through the eyes of attendees and their thoughts on the 2023 event:
