Forcing omsagent to push new custom random log file in a directory to Sentinel

Brass Contributor

Hi there,

I have a few randomly generated log files that need to be sent to sentinel. As per microsoft documentation the logs will only be reported to sentinel, once there is a change in the log timestamp. However, these are randomly generated files that are pasted through a script in a custom log location from where I want to enforce OMS agent to push these files to sentinel.

Is there any way in which we can enforce oms agent to push newly created log files in the folder to be push to sentinel? rather than having timestamps changed in those files since in my case, there will be no change in those files once they are written.

Thanks
