Rick_Baumhauer MS themselves in another post refer to the online recycle bin when discussing deletion of OneDrive cloud and/or local files - no point splitting hairs.
And yes some comments are emotional, but don't forget this mess is having a massive impact of peoples livelihoods. And mostly there has been long periods of silence from MS. Nothing worse than a Q&A with only Q's.!!!
While I agree with your comments on Apple and their File Provider API, and yes MS is one of the few companies to be able to influence Apple, their communication on this version, and their removal of my ability to control MY FILES on MY DEVICES and that of the many companies I manage has been absolutely woeful to say the least.
Totally inexcusable.
Even as a 35yr MS fan I have to say this silence has been totally arrogant - most of posters here are the users supporting MS the most, I've run a MS Gold Partner for many of those years, with thousands of MS customers. Never have I seen anything communicated this badly.
