MFA Number matching feature is not able to prompt digits in screen from CLI

We enabled MFA number matching feature couple of weeks ago, and our devops team uses cli mode to sign in to cloud applications such as AWS via containers. During this process, before enabling this feature; they used to get the prompt in Authenticator application  and approve it and easily sign in. However, after enabled the feature, they are getting the prompt in mobile phone to enter the digit, but the two digit code is not displaying in the screen.
