MCT Requirements

Copper Contributor

Hello Everyone,

Just I need your assistance to help me to become a MCT.

I have completed and passed in the following exams (through Certiport):

Microsoft Word 2016 Expert.

Microsoft Word 2016.

Microsoft Excel 2016.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2016.

My problems are:

I can't see my certificates and transcript in the Microsoft Website, and also when I started the process in the MCT enrollment website it show that I didn't meet the requirements (We're sorry, but in order to apply to the MCT program, you will need one of the required qualifying certifications.).

So kindly assist.

Thank you.

@Rashagamal935, your exams/certifications should be registered to your personal Microsoft Account for them to show up on the Microsoft Website. You can login to When viewing your profile, the certifications should be visible there. (for example: Certifications - Rashagamal935 | Microsoft Docs)

To become qualified for applying to the MCT program, you need some additional certification or Provide reference supporting at least one year of instructional experience. You can read more about it on the Microsoft Website: Microsoft Certified Trainer | Microsoft Docs

First of all, I'd like to thank you for your reply.

Kindly be informed that I have visited the website:

and I did;t find any certificate under this tab.

For the MCT, kindly be informed that I have the following certificate:

Microsoft Word Expert.

Microsoft Word 2016

Microsoft Excel 2016

Microsoft PowerPoint 2016

Experience certificate as an IT trainer.

But I still face the same problem, and I don't know how I can add the above certificates to my Microsoft Account, so Kindly assist.

After a quick search, I found that you can request that your exams are moved/ migrated to your Microsoft account:

I suggest to ask for a migration there and try the application for MCT again
I would recommend reaching out to MCT Support so they can help you with your account migration -
