Excel Help - Merge on a common key

Hey Community,

I'm about to start a project and potentially need to complete data merge on a common key in Excel.  What might be the most efficient approach to doing this, assuming large data?  I've seen some posts involving Power Query, which I am not familiar with.  Any assistance would be much appreciated- TY!!
