Update: New Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate certification available soon
Summary of the latest updates to Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert certification.
In our recent blog post, Evolving Microsoft 365 certifications help keep you in sync with the new era of work, we announced a number of exciting changes to our Microsoft 365 training and certification portfolio.
Since that post, the availability date of the new Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate certification (which is replacing the Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert certification) has moved up from July 2023 to May 2023. The new required exam, Exam MS-721: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer (beta), is available now.
If you’ve already earned the Teams Voice Engineer Expert certification (retiring in June 2023), you’ll find that certification and the new Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate certification on the transcript in your profile on Microsoft Learn in May 2023 (rather than in July 2023). Then, in November 2023 (rather than in January 2024), the renewal window for your new Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate certification opens. Be sure to pass the renewal assessment before the certification expires to prove that you’re current on the skills for the new definition of the role.
