No longer able to use domain admin account to install programs on Intune managed laptop
Hello,
First of all, I must add the caveat that the person who built this intune system is no longer with the company so I am almost flying blind. I currently have an issue managing intune built devices. I cannot use my domain admin account to install programs, when prompted by UAC.
I also cannot install any programs when logged into that specific laptop, with my domain account.
Just to be clear I am part of the Domain Admins group, and also a Global Administrator in AAD.
My staff, who have the same level of access, also cannot carry out the above so it's not related to my account. This functionality was previously working.
Any help would be appreciated.
- You're running Intune machines that are Hybrid Joined? Were your synced AD accounts member of a Device Administrators group perhaps? You can log on with your Global Admin account on an Intune machine by default and install the software like that?
