Kiosk mode accounts clarifications

Hello everyone,

 

We are about to implement a single app kiosk solution, and we need some clarifications upon user managament, especially using local accounts and Azure AD accounts.

1. When using local accounts, do they have to pre-exist on the computers?

2. How do we deal with these accounts passwords?

3. Using both options (local and AD accounts), how do you assign specific accounts to specific devices?

 

We need the ability to manage account assignment in order to have Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 assigned to specific licenses.

could you please elaborate more on the device current management status? 

1-Which platform? iOS/Android? 
2- intune managed devices? 
3- the user is only allowed to use one app or multiple app? 
4- user Login with AAD account?

Windows 10
2- intune managed devices? 

Yes, using intune device licenses
3- the user is only allowed to use one app or multiple app? 
Single app mode (full screen edge browser)
4- user Login with AAD account? 

That’s the question, which one to use and how to assign users to devices.
