Disk Encryption Policy
Dears,
Kindly i want to know if i modified settings in disk encryption policy it will damage the assigned devices?

- Moe_KinaniBronze ContributorChanging encryption policy on encrypted device will not change the status until you you decrypt and encrypt again (for example changing encryption from 128 to 256) . What change you want to make on the policy?

I changed encryption methods, recovery keys and passwords , tpm , but i didnt inform the users.

As I mentioned before if devices are already encrypted with BitLocker, your new policies deployed by Intune will not change the existing encryption. It may actually log it as failure in Intune logs. Here is a great guide:
