Kindly i want to know if i modified settings in disk encryption policy it will damage the assigned devices?

Can you elaborate on your question? Damage in what way?

Changing encryption policy on encrypted device will not change the status until you you decrypt and encrypt again (for example changing encryption from 128 to 256) . What change you want to make on the policy?

It shouldn’t damage the assigned devices….explaining the changes you want to make will be good so you can get a more direct answer.

As I mentioned before if devices are already encrypted with BitLocker, your new policies deployed by Intune will not change the existing encryption. It may actually log it as failure in Intune logs. Here is a great guide:
