Microsoft knows that migrating a large organization to a new unified endpoint management (UEM) platform can be difficult. We in Microsoft Intune are committed to making the journey easier. For many organizations, the benefits of switching to Intune are clear, but the process of moving from one endpoint management solution to another can seem complicated.

This is why we've spoken to IT leaders, IT admins and SecOps stakeholders from across the globe over the past few years: to learn where we can do more and create a program that better addresses those needs. The resulting ‘Invitation to Intune' initiative is for large commercial organizations. with 5,000+ users, that are ready to make the switch. IT teams benefit from a variety of Microsoft and partner resources at their disposal while we work together with you to facilitate your organization's migration with faster results.

So you've been invited to Intune…

How does the program actually work? If your organization is ready to kick off the Intune migration process, initiate a request for assistance and Microsoft will match you with the right engineering specialists for the job, whether it be Microsoft employees or one of our esteemed partners or vendors. In addition to tools and best practices gathered from our many Intune migrations, now through the end of April 2023 large organizations and partners may qualify for new dedicated resources to help migrate your org from your legacy UEM solution to Intune. With Microsoft as your migration companion, you can expect guidance complete with technical implementation and user adoption strategies. And if you're not currently an Intune customer but are ready to make the switch, engage with your Microsoft account team to discuss new incentives that are being made available.

Why switch?

If you're like most people in the world of IT, you know about Intune's ongoing goal of unifying endpoint management – and our commitment to Zero Trust. It's no secret that Intune has a lot to offer. Microsoft Intune excels at bringing cloud-attached and on-premises endpoint management together with security signals into a single interface.

And we're committed to helping organizations reduce costs. An October 2022 commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Microsoft showed that a composite organization representative of interviewed customers who had moved to Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 reduced the time spent deploying and managing new software by 25%. Why? They were able to simplify deployment, managing updates, troubleshooting, and supporting end users with Microsoft Intune.

"With Intune, it's a lot easier to maintain a standard build — especially with a largely mobile workforce or a work-from-home workforce," says one professional services CTO. "The amount of automation and the ability to synchronize endpoints is significantly enhanced."

With the launch of the Microsoft Intune Suite comes the ability to respond faster, the confidence to better protect and provide easier access to company data, and benefit from even greater automation. There's never been a better time to join Intune than now. That is why we're working to ensure you have all the resources you need to set you up for success.
