File View - Attachments vs. Embedded Images in Conversations

We're using an Office 365 group as a place to stage community-supplied content for public consumption. The idea is that we solicit our community to email the group email address their content (documents, photos, etc.) that they would like to see published to the public, and then the group members can review the content.

The "Files" view is great, because it streamlines the process for folks who contribute by sending an email with the content attached to the email as a document. Group members then have an easy way to view the files that came in as attachments, without having to go through the cumbersome process of saving the attachments to the group's file library manually.

There is one scenario that's not addressed, however, and that is when people want to contribute photos/images. Often times, these images come in embedded in the email, rather than as an attachment, and the Files view doesn't pick up on these, so they are often missed.

Other than educating our users to send images "as attachments" rather than inline, is there any way we could automatically see these images in the files view of the group also? Or maybe implement a Flow to extract the images?

Thanks,

Bob

Well, with no development your choices here are just what you have described...I think explore Flow possibilities is a good idea to start with
