Deleting office 365 groups

if a office 365 group was deleted , will the chat stay in the member's inbox?

@adteck Hello! Every team in Teams is backed by a Microsoft 365 Group with a SharePoint site and Exchange mailbox. The chats are actually stored i Azure Cosmos DB but ingested in the associated mailbox (hidden folder) for compliance records. If the groups is deleted so is the SharePoint site and Exchange mailbox.

Copies of messages addressed to the Group that have been delivered to user's mailboxes will stay intact, if that's what you are asking.
