in the broadcast/live production world, we often need to overlay a PowerPoint on other sources like camera shots or ultrawide screens. ideally, the best way to do this is to have an alpha channel with the content. adding support to remove the background of a PPT (currently defaults to white when setting opacity to 0) and have NDI support so we can transmit the output of the PPT on alpha to our downstream gear.
I started to play around with the Script Labs addon but I don't think that will let me mess with the final output or start an NDI stream.
