Mostly in the corporate world, especially where more than one team or department is involved there are often you will see hundred's of emails and depending on the type of organization each of these messages always have a common hook, such as defect number RMA number, common subject line, ticket number etc.
My idea is very simple but very very effective, once we search messages in Outlook with a search string and get the results, user should get an add-on option to select messages, which needs to be merged (please do not mix this idea with zip or archive) we are consolidating the entire conversation based on the date/time order such that the entire conversation comes down into one message in date/time order make the message one blog with all attachments in one place and Outlook should allow the users not just to consolidate but to remove duplicate messages and give a meaningful single tree based communication on one time. Outlook should also give user to update the CONSOLIDATION just incase if more messages has appeared on the same topic or strong and finally it should ask user if they would like to delete all the multiple messages after consolidation.
The advantage of this feature is huge because in the coming times when we are relying so much on DATA DATA DATA managing Data more efficiently is the key for any organization.
In further development to this feature, one can INCLUDE badges beside message such as APPROVAL or PRIORITY etc etc
This feature do no allow user to add attachment otherwise I would have shown what and how the feature will look like.
I hope someone will read this sooner or later and I just need 1 million dollar..;-)
