Online Repair not showing splash screen

Noticed this a version or two ago but i'm finding that running an 'Online Repair' will show the Office 365 splash screen briefly then disappear. 

I still see the processes running but why did you take away the splash screen? WHY!

Seems to happen right after step 1 of 4.
