One drive premium for one note

hi

I am student and I want to use one note for my academics. The 5gb storage that comes with one drive is used up by me. Now I want to buy a plan of one drive so that I can sync notes that I have created on one note. 

The issue is the plan that offers 50gb per month for $2/month is best suited for me. Th question is that whether or not ,will I be able to use that buyed storage for for syncing my notes to on drive.
