New icons and interface

Hello guys!

I have loved the new versions of fluent design-based apps. But some areas are still so... Outdated.
I am an old Windows Phone user and dream in one day to be able to enjoy (again) a standardized experience between mobile and desktop apps.
Is there any prediction about upgrading these apps to the new language?
I have the impression that will come along with the launch of the Duo...
