Introducing the new Microsoft Intune Suite

I don't like the direction it is all going. E5 was supposed to be 'have it all' license, now it's not clear for anybody, including Microsoft professionals I talk to during events what the licensing details are and what's included, no one is able to remember it all.

In my opinion this product with all the other recently introduced plugins and add ins to Defender, Entra and Priva should be the ultimate E5 license, E3 should inherit what current E5 has to offer and M365BP should have the best of breed for SMBs.

What we have now is complete chaos, with kind of powerful M365BP, completely not balanced and underpowered E3 and finally E5 which is getting surrounded with some online-gaming-like 'loot boxes' and in-app payments. On top of that, old EMS and add-ons are still available to buy with some other things like 'E5 Security' things no one really understands, the customers think is a whole E5 license specialised for security etc. It is absolute madness what is happening with Office 365 -> Microsoft 365 naming changes, customers are seriously confused and when they are confused, their trust level is dramatically going down to the point they don't want to use the product anymore, add the NCE process and (UK) price increase soon and we have a recipe for a disaster.

The graphs on the walls are not the indicators of the business growth anymore, wake up before its's too late, the competition is not sleeping and we all can see some serious moves on the market.

Just highlighting some of the other comments here. E5 is already a massive cost and has been sold to customers as the 'this includes everything' subscription, which obviously isn't the case. It's very frustrating having to ask for £300k+ a year more for a few new features in Intune, when these really should be either included in the base Intune licence, or at very least included in E5.

The A5/E5 'all-you-can-eat' licence is feeling more and more like an entre.

Why charge for these items? Some can be remedied and remedied better with third party products. Give away for free (or with your Intune license) and you might take people off your competition. As it stands, doubt many will leave ConnectWise and BeyondTrust, as just a couple examples.

Remote Help is a 1580% price increase here, due to the "user" license, over our current "agent" license.

Endpoint PIM is a 80% price increase over your three main competitors.

As mentioned by the community since the release of your pricing plan, I think this time you missed the mark.

This would have definitely with a competitive price been interesting for near all Intune administrators. This would also drive a huge push for E5 for those E3 companies on the edge if included.

KrisDeb +1 on the gaming loot box analogy. Maybe Intune_Support_Team has turned Microsoft 365 management over to Activision... 

Microsoft team please provide clarity on how this affects Microsoft 365 Business Premium, E3, E5 and any other plan that includes Enterprise Mobility & Security. This is all confusing and no one knows who to trust anymore about what Intune is. 

After reading the post and pricing table I can only guess, that next step is change blog name to "Customers, who left Intune Success Stories".
I've waited 2-3 months waiting for new features like addition to EPM and Certificate Management, but current approuch really shows where this is going.

Microsoft 365 E3 least year was ~34Euro/user/month without any % price off and now we get another 10-11% increase in 2023Q2 + if we wanna continue going with intune we need to spend additional 10 Euro/user/month and pray the price won't increase after you bring more to this play after at 2023Q3 - based on pricing dashboard.

That's just way to greedy, when you consider people already pay +20$ more for E5 and still have to pay the same fee for EPM and Remote support.
Why even release a product that does not compete with neither:
- price range - new 2-4 features for +10Eur/user/month, where this is usually included in the already top model  of the line licensing options with other vendor products.
- feature reachness - Remote support is still Windows only, does not allow unattended access, no file transfer option; EPM is still mediocre with application listing and blocklist, only Windows support, even tho we are few months behind adding Linux support and years after adding MacOS support
- platform support - everything is learn on your own and deploy with PoS or pay for partner help, cause MS support lately can't do anything without escalation to L2/L3, which takes 2-3 weeks at best.

Please reconsider those feature placement in current Intune plans, without adding some new things to already overcomplicated licensing.

Has anybody else noticed how the only response from support was that thier own links didnt work ? 

If this is the level of support, we can expect, I dont think this alpha release is for us. 

I am still waiting on pricing from our License partner, will post here when they return 🙂

They're already starting to price themselves out of relevance.  I will also add my voice to the chorus of people asking why the e5 (everything in) edition of 365 even exists if Microsoft is going to keep devaluing it?  I've already helped one tenant go from e3 to business premium.  At the rate we're headed maybe I'll end up moving an e5 entity to business premium next!

Anyways... Most of the suite is part of the regular licenses if I am reading this right Microsoft Intune Plans and Pricing.
