Power Query Editor window slow to open.
As of today, the Power Query Editor window, on MS Excel 2013, has been very slow to open, even on a blank workbook with no data, no queries written. Upwards of three minutes just to show an empty editor window. I have tried Uninstall and install the latest version of PQ (2.62.5222.701 32-bit) Repair MS Office Stop MS Teams running as a new version installed Checked Anti-virus - could not see anything that would impede performance Running a refresh on a simple query that has previously taken less than 30 seconds, now takes upwards of 10 minutes. No errors are shown and the results are all OK. Any suggestions on what to look for? Cheers Graham
Excel 2013
While working in excel 2013, I somehow locked the entire workbook and now cannot enter any data in any cell. My data is there, but I can't add any new data. I've tried following the help files for unlocking the cells and even the whole sheet, but nothing works. I don't know what I did, or how to fix it. I have over 5,000 lines of data, and it will take weeks to re-enter everything. What did I do, and how do I fix it? Please help!!! - Rick Iaccino
Can you simultaneously change all linked cells' data in multiple Excel 2013 spreadsheets?
Can you simultaneously change all linked cell's data in multiple Excel 2013 spreadsheets when any of the spreadsheets are changed? For example, using the attached demo spreadsheets (Tests 1, 2 and 3), if you change cell A2’s data in Test 1, can you get it to automatically change the data in linked cells in Test 2 and Test 3 and vice versa (i.e. if data in either Test 2 or Test 3's linked cells are changed can you get it to change linked cell data in Test 1)? Currently you can set it up to externally link data from 2 spreadsheet workbooks by one being the 'Source' file and one being the 'Destination' file. When you create an external link in the Destination file, it can link to data (and any changes) in the linked cell from the Source Doc. I basically want all my spreadsheets to be Source AND Destination files. The Excel version is Excel 2013, part of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013.
Excel 2013 - Add custom table to chart
Hello, I have been having an issue. I have made a column chart showing percentage values and I want to add a table underneath the chart showing the true values to further contextualise the percentages. Although this information is shown in a way on the table, it is not part of its source data. Since the data I want to add do not appear directly on the chart, I can't add it. When I added a data table through the editing options in excel, the information provided just mirrors what the chart was already showing. I want the table to provide additional information, not to repeat what's already there. Is there a way to do that? Thank you,
