We have a Tenant with Exchange online users that was disconnected from the related AD domain, now the customer is going to connect them via ADConnect to ease management and better user's experience.
So we installed an exchange 2016 server on-prem, since is required by MS for managing synchronized users, and ADConnect.
Logging into the on-prem exchange EMC we see no recipients, as expected, since no users are synchronizing at the time.
To test the environment we created an OU and configured ADConnect to synchronized only that OU.
We moved a user on the test OU and saw it replicated, merged, to the Azure Tenant.
We expected to see that user also in the on-prem exchange once synchronized but is not showing.
Is it normal or we miss some step ?
