#1 on my wish list is an 'Explode' function.

 

This is used so often with LAMBDA that it would be a great convenience to do this more directly.

=MID(A1,SEQUENCE(,LEN(A1)),1)

One option would be to update TEXTSPLIT to explode a scalar when "" is specified for the delimiter.
