Refresh Enterprise Mode Site List
R_Whitmire23 Thanks for the additional information! I'll reach out/follow up with the team and see if they have any insights.

R_Whitmire23 NConnects jeffj The team would like to investigate further. If there is no private/confidential information, would you be able to send an export of edge://compat/iediagnostic when the device is in the broken state and the issue reproduces?
If there is confidential information in the export, can you reach out to Support https://microsoftedgesupport.microsoft.com/hc/en-us ? They will be able to gather the information securely to help investigate.
Thanks!

John_Dodo I'm not exactly sure how IE mode is set up in your environment. If you are using Cloud Site List Management for IE mode there is some documentation here: Cloud Site List Management for Internet Explorer (IE) mode" | Microsoft Learn
Or possibly this FAQ might help: Internet Explorer (IE) mode troubleshooting and FAQ | Microsoft Learn
Also, you can reach out to Support (https://support.serviceshub.microsoft.com/supportforbusiness) to help with any IE mode configuration issues. Thanks!

Hi Kelly,
The version of Edge is the following: 125.0.2535.51
For my part, we deliberately blocked the version of Windows 10 1809 on our VDI, to keep Internet Explorer (business application compatibility), and not move to Edge Chromium.
Since then, for corporate security reasons, we've opted to ugrade to Windows 10 20H2 (then 22H2 shortly) with the latest versions of Edge Chromium (updated weekly).
Currently 125.0.2535.51, soon 125.0.2535.67
Would you have an alternative way of benefiting from Refresh Enterprise Mode Site List without having Edge Chromium running in the background for 65 seconds and without clicking on the Force Update button?
Thank you in advance for your help. - RyanE94May 29, 2024Copper ContributorGetting the same, version has been updated 3 times in the last week, and I was still on version 17 of 20 without a forced update
- John_DodoMay 27, 2024Brass ContributorHi Kelly_Y,
here May 2024 and still having this issue with recent versions.
Only clicking edge://compat/enterprise allows to not close Edge to get to compatibility mode.
This is clearly not a usable solution for an enterprise.
Edge : 125.0.25.35.51
IE : 11.0.19041.1566
Windows 10 : 20H2 build 19042.2965
Thank you for your help. - jeffjSep 21, 2021Brass ContributorYes on the GP for turning on.
- R_Whitmire23Sep 21, 2021Copper ContributorI did not have that enabled, and after enabling it, the behavior does seem to work as expected, after 65 seconds it updated the list and now the correct list is displayed between versions!

R_Whitmire23 Our developers have started to investigate and have a couple of follow up questions.
Would you be able to confirm if you have enabled the group policy for IE mode, “Configure Internet Explorer integration” (Configure IE mode Policies | Microsoft Docs)? Or how are you enabling IE mode?
If you are not using the Configure Internet Explorer integration policy, can you try to enable and test again?
Thanks!
