[BUG] Setting GPO 'AutoplayAllowed=disabled' brakes Read-Aloud's online voices

Iron Contributor

Hello.

If I set the Policy AutoplayAllowed to disbaled (Blocking autoplay) then the read aloud feature won't work with the online voices anymore.

The debug log of Edge says that the command Play() is only allowed to be initiated by user gestures, when I press the Play button. (For the exact message please see the picture.)

With non-online voices everything works fine.

Our Edge version: 85.* Stable-Channel

Best regards.

Hello.

Unfortunatly the "Send Feedback" function in Edge is blocked on our work PCs.

Can one of the microsoft employes please forward the bug report the the devs.

That would be great.

Best regards.
