YouTube videos on Edge Canary just show a black screen

Edge Canary, including the latest build, only shows a black screen when I play YouTube videos, though the audio plays normally. Actually, the whole YouTube website often gets visual glitches, with black squares occasionally covering sections of the page, forcing me to refresh the page in order to render it correctly.

I disabled all extensions but no change, and Stable, Beta and Dev builds don't have this issue. I used the Feedback option to report the issue, but I felt like doing it here as well:

edit: forgot to mention the issue only happens on my laptop, which has a Core i5-1135G7 (Iris Xe Graphics G7 as iGPU), unlike my desktop (RTX 2060 12GB). Not sure who's fault now for YouTube being broken, Intel GPU or Edge Canary.
