Wrong Microsoft Edge Taskbar Icon

I've noticed for the past 2 days, whenever i open Microsoft Edge Dev the icon that pops up in my taskbar is of the regular Microsoft Edge (non-chromium). Although it opens Edge Dev, the icon is Edge. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it?

    have to test to unpin close all open it again (by the shortcut in the start menu), and pin it ?

      As you can see in the screenshot, removing the icon had resulted in a invisible icon in the startmenu. I have reset my edge and removed the profile but no luck. Deleted

        try to unpin and remove all the shorcut who have a link to edge in this folder
        "%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer"
        and retry
