Windows 10 screen scaling, font size and Edge content zoom

Copper Contributor

Hi

I'm a web developer suffering this issue inherited from Chrome: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=912140

There's no way to set the Windows 10 screen scaling or making the font size bigger (Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display > Make text bigger) without Edge zooming contents in this proportion.

As a web developer I want Edge to respect the "natural" size of the web, but keeping the interface as any other app. I know the existence of "/high-dpi-support=1 /device-scale-factor=1 /force-device-scale-factor=1" flags but it resets all, content and interface.

Is there any flag to force Edge to do not zoom the content but keeping the interface as Windows set it?. Mozilla Firefox does it by default...

A workaround is set the font size at 111% and the Edge zoom to 90%, but is not 100% accurate.

Thanks!

I agree, and it's the only reason I don't use Edge. I like Firefox. The Windows setting to "Make Text Bigger", is for Windows, and Edge should NOT be affected.
