Sync stuck at "setting up sync"
So I've been an Edge Insider since day one. I have always been stuck on "Setting up Sync" on every PC I've ever set it up on. The ONLY way it works is if I set it up on my MSA account. At work for obvious reasons I want to use my AAD account from o365. Why isn't this working?!!
I looked at the edge://sync-internals/# from both accounts and the AAD account has never successfully synced EVER. Please help.

I've installed Edge for Business (because I'm logging to my university Microsoft AAD account) on Linux Environment for ChromeOS on my Acer Chromebook 315.
And when I login to account through profile, to have my synced data from other browser available here, I see the browser is stuck on "Setting up sync" process.

Transport State has Configuring data types status and Setup In Progress has false value.
In table Status from Last Completed Session table, there's GetKey Step Result having error value SERVER_RESPONSE_VALIDATION_FAILED.
And in Type Info table we clearly see, the browser backed off from syncing the content, don't know why.
Is there any way to fix this syncing problem or just I have to re-install browser few times?

ChrisRogers Thanks for your patience while I've been working with the Enterprise team. Good news: they got the feedback you submitted and use it to determine that your "setting up sync" roadblock is part of a known issue that we are actively tracking. They are also working on getting sync to work with your SKU, but that is also still in progress.

nasty-gramerr umm I mean feedback before I ever posted here. Per your request, I submitted more feedback today. Not sure how they would ever identify me and my problem or if you are just suggesting I submit general feedback on the "Setting up sync" problem. Whichever, I have submitted more feedback. This whole thing just makes me think "Is favorites sync for o365 really this hard?"Chris
UPDATE: I confirmed with our Enterprise team that regardless of your SKU, it shouldn't be stuck on the "setting up sync" part, so they echoed the request for a feedback submission.

However, if there is a bug involved here, we definitely want to help you get to the bottom of it. If the problem persists and isn't addressed in the article, can you please submit feedback through the browser so our devs can get some data logs?

HotCakeX sounds like a money grab to me pure and simple. Free users don't get or need all the other things that AAD Premium offers I bet. And thuss they shouldn't bury a free feature into something piad that offers much more. We want to sync simple hyperlinks for cripes sake. Not credit card numbers....
- Yes I understand, something that is available for free should be also available to paid customers.
Enterprise state roaming has more features and gives more control over the synced data, that's probably why it's paid, but business premium subscribers should at least, in my opinion, have access to the same basic sync functionality that free MSAs have access to.

This is absolutely maddening. We pay for this service and want to simlply sync favorites. No different than a user of the >>FREE<< MSA accounts. I sign onto my free MSA account, sync works like a champ. I sign into the account I pay MS for each month along with 32 other users... I'm screwed. Ridiculous.
