Support for using Android devices as FIDO keys

Copper Contributor

Google have added functionality to Chrome 72 and higher that allows Android phones to be used as a security key rather than just as a TOTP generator or Push notification receiver. This essentially turns Android phones into FIDO keys.

Although Google are (apparently) using open standards, the functionality appears to only be in Chrome and not Chromium. It isn't clear if Google are going to add it into Chromium but, if they aren't, it would be useful/helpful if Edge could have the functionality added as it would make some web interactions more secure without needing to dig out Chrome.
