- Sep 22, 2023The issue is already being worked on. I have gathered everything here:

Well, i encounter this error on Ryzen too, now. And everything started after the recent Windows Update KB installed.

same issue on amd ryzen.
found this thread after a week of troubles.
Put in a new ssd, format and install win 11. do all updates and open some tabs on edge, access violation..
And if luck, a blue screen with kernel error. Set process lasso to core 15, no crash in edge.
But leave pc idle for 10 minutes, another bsod.
ps, it crashes also in vivaldi and chrome.
this must be hw related?

hsngencer I went through this for weeks trying everything. Finally a real solution. I have a i9 14900K. I stopped AI over clocking and used Intell default settings still no luck until I reduced the first two Performance cores from 60 to 57. This completely removed this problem. After a few days I move the two cores up to 58 and still no more problems. I did this through Intel XTU but you could do this in bios. I only reduced the first to cores nothing else.
- ParentElementMay 22, 2024Copper Contributorhsngencer Nope, I also had the 13900K (it's a 14900K now) and never experienced the problem again after swapping CPU. Previously I swapped the RAM, GPU and Motherboard and multiple re-installs with no luck. Swapped the CPU and everything's been golden ever since. 4 months now and zero crashes.

Rumtintin24 Guys, do you still have the problem? It's been going on for me for 2 months. Is this a processor fault? I am using 13900k. Those who changed their processors did not have this problem anymore.
- Rumtintin24Jan 23, 2024Brass Contributor100% isolated to CPU 10 (P Core) finally. I set several apps (Edge, Discord, Rainmeter, etc.) to use all the P Cores and E Cores besides 10 (with Process Lasso), and it's been butter smooth for a week. Not a single crash or STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. So weird.
- ParentElementJan 16, 2024Copper ContributorYep, that's what I just did. Replaced the 13900K with a 14900K. Swapped the CPU late yesterday afternoon and re-enabled all cores. Since then I've had no blue screens, no app crashes, no STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION crashes in browser. Everything is running perfectly.
