Sound quality drops after playing next song on Spotify via Edge web browser

Hi, I've been using Sony XM4 and have been using Edge web browser in playing Spotify due to better quality (versus Spotify app in Win10). However fairly recently, I noticed that whenever I play a song when I open Spotify on Edge, the sound quality drops right after I switch to another song, and never goes back to the original quality. 

The original (better) quality only goes back when I close Edge browser and open it again. But then, everytime I switch to the next song, sound quality drops again and never gets better (unless I close Edge and open it again).

Has anyone else noticed this problem?

I've been using the Sony XM4 headphones too, and I totally get what you're saying about using Edge for better Spotify quality.

HI there, were you able to find a fix or pin-point the problem? Technology is getting me all out of sorts.
