Running Edge in Debian/Crostini on Chromebook - White Bar at Top??

I've been using Edge Dev and Beta for Linux for months now.  Been running the Beta most recently.  I love it on my Chromebook.

For quite some time now, the tabs in Edge have been in the same horizontal space on the screen as the Minimize/Maximize/Close controls.  As of last week, there is now a white bar at the top with those controls, and the tabs are in the next horizontal space below.

Was something changed in Edge for Linux that caused this?  It's an eyesore!

Thanks!
