Removing duplicate favorites breaks web extensions API

Using Version 96.0.1054.34 (Official build) on Win10 64-bit, if I attempt to add a duplicate favorite in a folder, Edge automatically deletes it. However, in the process of deleting the duplicate Edge breaks the web extensions API as it does not trigger the bookmarks onRemoved event: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/bookmarks/#event-onRemoved.

 

How can I raise this as a bug?
