PDF opened in Edge with links inside the pdf to other pdf files are not opening.

i have a few pdf that we post online for the public to view, they have links to other PDFs that are able to open in Chrome, firefox, safari, but for some reason just in Edge it does not open. In edge i would have to copy the link from within the pdf, then paste it to another edge window and then it'll open. Please help.
