Microsoft Edge Vertical tabs

Don't you think it would be more useful to have the close mark on the left of the icon when the mouse cursor hovers over vertical tabs in Microsoft Edge?

Also, wouldn't it be better if the waiting time when hovering over the mouse cursor in vertical tabs was a bit shorter?

I agree with the shorter animation and the vertical tab panel should expand more quickly, but not with the X close mark coming to the left side.
it will cause accidental tab closure for me, because that's the area where I click to go to the tab.
and in case the tab is playing audio, that's where the speaker icon will appear.
