Microsoft edge the reason I'm losing Chrome bookmarks

I'm experiencing a rather concerning bug.  I have both Chrome and (new)Edge browsers. I noticed this a few weeks ago where all of my browser bookmarks were gone and I couldn't figure out why. ...

Was this ever resolved?  When I open Edge, my Chrome bookmarks go away.

Yes, sort of. I turned off the google sync on Edge and haven't had an issue since.

    I have the same problem. Can I ask where to turn off google sync on Edge, I couldn't find it?
