Is there a way to disable this smooth scrolling effect?

Hi.

Liking Edge very much so far.

Perhaps placebo but feels faster too (than Chrome).

One thing I would like to ask is if there's an option to disable this smooth-scrolling effect. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I prefer the faster Chrome's scrolling. This is especially an issue to me when reading Google Docs and scrolling through my Twitter feed. I think it causes a bit of dizziness.

(Windows 10)

Thank you!

  • Hi,
    try going to edge://flags/
    and disable this flag:

    Smooth Scrolling
Animate smoothly when scrolling page content. – Windows
    #smooth-scrolling

    Hi!
I think you can try to adapt to this effect. Because any new function has a process of exclusion and acceptance. If you think this is unbearable, I suggest you use the feedback center that comes with Windows 10 to advise the development team. You can follow the prompts of the feedback center to make suggestions!
         Hope it can help you!
