Google meet sound doesn't work in Edge , works in Firefox

Google meet sound doesn't work in Edge , works in Firefox at my computer.

Audio of person at other side breaks for me , while all other participants in meeting can hear him properly. 

I did a sound test in google meet at my Edge browser and it breaks there too. I re-installed Edge but no success( don't want to uninstall and then install due to risk of losing saved cookies etc. ) 

When I installed firefox and there it works.

What could be an issue with Edge and how to solve it?
