This is pretty normal at least for chromium-based browsers. When extension icons do not fit on the toolbar then they appear in the setting menu where you can access its menu. It's not a very elegant solution but it's working. On Chromium canary developer finally added extension panel on the toolbar but IDK if Edge's developers will adopt it.

As told in the above reply, it is normal. You can move these extensions from toolbar to the menu and vice-versa by right clicking on an extension and selecting move to the menu or move to the toolbar.
