Edge won't start in Ubuntu
The MS-Edge icon just appears on the dock, but the browser is not seen, and after a while the icon also goes away. Tried to open through the terminal. This is what I get.
[9308:9308:0920/093358.010042:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(374)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process.

Any solutions? Thanks

Hey there chdslv! Do you know which version you're using between Dev and Beta, and have you tried reinstalling? Can you also provide your Ubuntu distro?

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)- Alexandra-RMicrosoftHey there! Same questions as above, are you using Dev or Beta, what's your distro, and have you tried reinstalling? Thanks!

Sorry I forgot to put the distro I was on
I am on Ubuntu 20.04
Dev and Beta and reinstalled both

The team took a look and this is likely the same issue that's causing folks to run into a SIGTRAP error on launch with some distros, so thanks for the logs of the error! The fix for that should be in the Dev release that went out today, so if you could both confirm if you're still running into this after updating to the latest version that would be great! Thanks 😃

The Dev release opens after clicking twice on the icon. So, checked in the Terminal, here's what I get,
microsoft-edge-dev [7164:7164:0928/185412.968787:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(374)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process. This happens in Ubuntu 21.10 (updated to present stage). It doesn't happen in Arch Linux Gnome, Elementary OS or in Deepin.
- cpagrawalCopper ContributorAny solutions for the same ?
It is great browser and I have been using it all time since it was launched for linux. I am now getting error while launching it from terminal.
[7685:7685:0306/122311.888168:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(377)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process.
I tried many options such as --no-sandbox, --disable-gpu but nothing seems working. the same error appears again.
I am using Ubuntu 20.04 ( Zorin OS 16 ).
