Edge freezes, restore pages, and "about.blank"

Windows 11, Edge 110.0.1587.49 (64 bit).  Since latest update Edge Freezes or when started gets "Restore pages" message or when going to site "about.blank"  appears in the address bar.

Is there a problem with this update  that is causing this problem?  I am forced to use Google Chrome in order to search the Web.

@hrourk Edge 110.0.1587.56 (64 bit).  but windows 10 because I wanted to watch others fight the good fight.. Battle of Microsoft ver new, Not work or kinda work, what will it be? still looking for the issue Windows is not wanting to update either I may try the new hammer app (CrAsH) and beat it into submission, if, no one can help.
