Hello! 

I just updated my Edge Dev to the latest version on 14.01.2020. Since then it is not working anymore.. 

It is not even possible to open Settings 4 example.

you're not alone, many of us are experiencing the same Access Violation error as well and reported in https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/dev-channel-update-to-81-0-381-0-is-live/m-p/1097...

i think that error has bin ther in 50 updatets

But looks like it climaxed in the latest Dev update where lots of people reported to be seeing the same error
One of the developers replied that Forcepoint/Websense security software installed on your computer can cause that error. do you have any of those softwares installed?

@HotCakeX No - Not that I know, couldn't find anything. BTW it's a company PC probably because of some firewall restrictions?!

Yes it's possible, I never used that software but now that I'm reading the description, it says
Forcepoint, previously known as Websense or Raytheon|Websense, is an Austin-based company owned by U.S. defense contractor Raytheon and private equity firm Vista Equity Partners. It develops and markets cybersecurity software to prevent employees from viewing inappropriate or malicious content, or leaking confidential data.

so not a kind of software to be found on home users' computers
