Does Microsoft Edge Support AV1 Codec?
Does Microsoft Edge browser in any channel, Canary, Dev, or Beta support AV1 Codec? If yes, how to enable it? If not, is there any chance to get in future?

- It used to, but they disabled support after 105.0.1343.27, now we're already on 119.0.2151.24 and they still didn't reenabled.
- Yes. As long as you update to Microsoft Edge (since Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809). you can download the av1 video extension from microsoft store and then play it with your movie & tv app.
yeah, would be nice to have av1 support, both for youtube and in general

testing on Edge canary Version 84.0.480.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
I get the message "This browser does not seem to support AV1"
