--disable-features=msDownloadsHub not working properly since v104

Steel Contributor

I'm running Edge Stable, Dev and Canary on a Windows 10 tablet, each with the command line option
--disable-features=msDownloadsHub to use the "classic" download bar at the bottom (since the "new" download hub is pretty unusable for touch users).

At least since bringing Edge to v104 only downloads via right click menu option "save file as" work, but downloads via a link or html-button fail, in Stable v104 and v105 even for pdf files.

Here are a few examples for testing:

MP4: https://download.samplelib.com/sample-mp4.html

I just get a symbol showing a question mark, as if the file type was unknown (see screenshot).

This bug didn't appear in v103 and before. Can anyone else please confirm or already found a solution?

Thanks in advance :)

Can confirm having the same issue using Version 105.0.1343.27 (Official build) (64-bit)

This is what I have set up"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-features=msDownloadsHub --profile-directory="Profile 1"

This is also happening to me on Version 105.0.1343.42 (Official build) (64-bit) with no way to resolve the issue
