Known issues:
- Certain extensions such as the Microsoft Editor extension don’t work on Linux. As soon as they’re installed, they crash and are disabled. We’re currently investigating.
- Users of certain ad blocking extensions may experience playback errors on Youtube. As a workaround, temporarily disabling the extension should allow playback to proceed. See this help article for more details.
- Some users are still running into an issue where all tabs and extensions immediately crash with a STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_HASH error. The most common cause of this error is outdated security or antivirus software from vendors like Symantec, and in those cases, updating that software will fix it.
- Users of the Kaspersky Internet Suite who have the associated extension installed may sometimes see webpages like Gmail fail to load. This failure is due to the main Kaspersky software being out of date, and is thus fixed by making sure the latest version is installed.
- Some users are still seeing favorites get duplicated. This issue should be reduced now that automatic deduplication has been introduced into Insider channels, but we’re still rolling that out in Stable. We’ve also seen duplication happen when running the manual deduplicator on multiple machines before either machine has a chance to fully sync its changes, so make sure to leave plenty of time in between runs of the deduplicator.
- Some users are seeing “wobbling” behavior when scrolling using trackpad gestures or touchscreens, where scrolling in one dimension also causes the page to subtly scroll back and forth in the other. Note that this only affects certain websites and seems to be worse on certain devices. This is most likely related to our ongoing work to bring scrolling back to parity with Edge Legacy’s behavior, so if this behavior is undesirable, you can temporarily turn it off by disabling the edge://flags/#edge-experimental-scrolling flag.
For Stable users, version 91 was released last week, so be on the lookout for that!
- JourneymanMCIron ContributorSo the Math Solver doesn't work in my browser, I am using MS Edge version 92.0.902.62 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home 21H1.
When I select the Math Solver from the menu I just get a grey side-panel with no functions. I have tried turning on the Math Solver flag, doesn't help.
As far as I know it should be working in both beta and canary. - onomatopellanCopper Contributor
josh_bodner I'm testing Edge Linux in WSLg and from this release onwards wheel scroll doesn't work when using wayland in Microsoft Edge. Release 92.0.891.1 is the last one where wheel scroll works for me.
This is how I launch wayland Edge in my Ubuntu 20.04 WSL2 distro:
microsoft-edge-dev --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland

«there was a problem on this page»

RE: "Web Capture that save captures into Collections". The official Microsoft Edge page (https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/whats-next) says that the feature is already “launched” in v91 stable on May27. According to this forum page, the feature is added in Dev v92 on Jun01. Still this feature is nowhere to be found in Edge stable91, beta91, Dev92 or canary93 as of Jun03. When is the feature truly gonna roll out? Can someone explain the inconsistent info?

Microsoft
TCollins we're still rolling out support for web captures in Collections, so not everybody will have it yet.

In the latest build, a cosmetic bug appeared in the Extension area, see screenshot above.
Certain extensions, which have indicators showing the state of the extension via their icon, have icons which are not completely rendered.

The name of the pwa is masked above the first tab of the window. I'm so uncomfortable!
- josh_bodner
Microsoft
tbinmyarea do you have the flag enabled to use tabs in PWAs, by chance? That's a flag we got from Chromium and isn't really one we support ourselves, so it's not surprising that it's causing issues.
- menegatorBrass ContributorHonestly, while I like the way Vivaldi handles multiple extensions by showing or hiding them in the bar with a single toggle, I cannot understand why the grief on the extension menu, it's actually quite handy if you have many extensions, and the menu is working, it shows the extension with their badges (though also truncated in this build) and all extensions are clickable, they work as good as if there left of the address bar. Am I missing something?
- Tio_DepSteel ContributorHello, we can't use twitter, Bing, microsoft news, and more other websites since the latest update !!! Status access violation. I can't use my account because logging doesn't work ! I can't wait one week for an update, i Will have to use chrome... 😢
- azrael99Iron ContributorThe rollout of the new extension menu - ROFLMAO. Way to listen to feedback MS...If you release this feature in beta and stable - I'm ditching Edge altogether. A simple solution on implementing a flag to disable this feature to make everyone happy and you can't do it? I'd rather use Google Chrome then if you are going to ignore feedback.
