Sometimes happens to me on Canary as well, try 1) restarting the computer 2) leave it be for few mins 3) turn off startup boost and try again

Kam Yup, that happens sometimes if you check for an update right after we release it. For some reason, the browser knows there's an update sooner than it can actually download it!
I seen those only on mac's. Are you going to fix this and mak eit more reliable???
