Cursor hidden in TEXTAREA

Copper Contributor

When composing a message on a forum, the starting position of the cursor is hidden by the thick border of the TEXTAREA in Edge. Makes it impossible to tell if I have actually selected the TEXTAREA for input.

On Chrome and IE and old Edge, the cursor is visible because the border is thinner. There's no confusion about where the input will go. Please fix it.

This is a very valid observation in my opinion. It should be improved.

The flashing text cursor virtually merges with the left border of most text boxes.

Firefox also makes the text cursor more visible by leaving blank pixel(s) in front of it.

@midacre Thanks for letting us know. If you haven't already, can you please submit feedback through the browser so our devs can have a screenshot?
