Creating a folder or saving a downloaded file is taking way longer than usual

I am experiencing a long time wait period (almost 1 minute) every time I want to create a folder in my Win 11 Home base system. 

I thougt it was my external SSD having issues, but then I tried to create a folder in my internal SSD and had the same wait time.
