[BUG + SOLVED] We are unable to verify your account. Edge 88.0.705.74. Mac 11.1 M1 chip.

When trying to log in with an email, immediately getting the following error.

Have confirmed that email is correct, password is correct.

Account is a personal account, not affiliated with an Enterprise.

Currently account does not require two-factor auth; but I did try signing in with it on.


OS: Mac 11.1 (Big Sur) M1 chip

Browser: Microsoft Edge 88.0.705.74 (Public release) Mac chip

1. Wanted to see if the problem was related to having too many synced accounts across multiple devices. Decided to jump on another computer I have that's connected to my account and unsync it. 

2. I then tried to sync with my problem device to no avail.

3. I then resynced the other device.

4. Afterwards, I was able to sync my problem device.


Not sure what the issue was, or why unsyncing + syncing a different device fixed it. But thought I'd comment here for note-keeping.
