Browser (Edge) keeps requesting access to microphone for specific website on iPad

We have developed an application in which the microphone is used constantly. When opening the web app and starting a recording on the iPad (9th generation - iOS 15.5), we get a message whether the specific url may have access to the microphone. If we selected 'allow', we can record every time in the same session without any problems. If we close the browser and go to the url again, we have to give permission again. This is very annoying for the user. How can we solve this? On the iPad there is no option for Edge to allow the mic for specific urls, this is only possible on Safari.

Thanks! Berend

What happens if you turn off the site setting to ask before using the microphone?
Thank you for your reaction. Where is the option to turn off the site setting to ask before using the microphone? I cannot find this option on the iPad
On Android, it's under ... > Settings > Privacy and security > Site permissions > Microphone, but I'm not sure if iOS lets browsers have the same settings as they do on Android.
